Hoboken, N.J. -- The women's basketball team lost to Stevens Institute of Technology this afternoon, 58-40. The Bombers fall to 3-4 on the season and 2-1 in the Empire 8.

Senior Kali Carnovale (St. Mary’s Area/Kersey, Pa.) led the team with eight points and six defensive rebounds. Sophomore Katherine Bixby (Germantown Friends/Philadelphia, Pa.) had seven points in the loss, while Erika Steele (Hopkinton/Hopkinton, Mass.) and Jeanine Burke (Bridgewater-Raritan/Raritan, N.J.) recorded six points each.

Up next, the Bombers travel to San Diego, Calif. for the Surf N’ Slam Tournament. Ithaca takes on Carroll, December 27, at 3 p.m.
